A deep sense of history can be felt in every corner of this house. The walls belong to the ancient castle of Espolla, from the XIIIth century, and one of its main doors and some loopholes still exist today. The building is ranked as a national heritage site.

Later on, the building was turned into a farmhouse and a forge. Some elements from past times can still be found in the rooms, whose traditional ambience provides the guests with a comfortable and warming accommodation.

The village of Espolla dates back to thousands of years before our era. The village has up to 11 prehistorical menhirs and in the surroundings of the house it is possible to visit several monuments belonging to different periods. Therefore, visiting the area is an experience that will allow the guests to time-travel without going too far.
